Service Projects in India - BTL Education Trust

The BTL Education Trust has helped thousands over the past 30 years by providing health, humanitarian and educational improvements to rural India. Listed below are few key projects that have served and continue to serve those most in need.

- Two Pre-University Colleges with vocational courses functioning since 1981 and First Grade College, catering to needs of rural suburbs of Bangalore, at Bommasandra Village and Banashankari, India.

- Industrial Training Institute - started in 1982 at Malkote, moved to Bommasandra Village Campus, Bangalore, India.

- Started a Rural Health Clinic (Hospital) & Maternity Hospital at Sulvara Village, Magadi TK, India - 1984 & 1994.

- Instituted ` 1,00,00,000 (1 Crore) Endowment to provide annual scholarships (about 150) to needy students, in India since 1987.

- Polytechnic Institute - started in 1987 at Bommasandra, Bangalore, India.

- Instituted ` 2,50,000 endowment at Kannada Sahitya Parishat to provide annual award and publication of best literary work from a rural area since 1994, in India.

- Started Engineering College at Bommasandra Village Campus - 1997.

- Started three Vidyavahini Schools (primary/secondary) at rural parts of Bangalore and Mysore, India - since 1995

- Contributed $5,000 to the “Home for the Aged” project at Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, India - 1999.

- Started Nursing School at Bommasandara Campus - 2004.

- Started B.Ed. College at Bommasandara Campus - 2004.

- Started Academy of English - 2009.

- Catering to the needs of about 3,500 students at Bommasandra Campus & about 1,500 students at Banashankari, Bangalore and Mysore Campus.
